The ordinary plastic bag. A ubiquitous part of everyday life. An icon of convenience. An environmental scourge. Did you know that between 500 billion and 1 trillion plastic bags are used worldwide each year but only 1% is recycled? The rest end up in our oceans and landfills where they take hundreds of years to decompose. It doesn’t have to end this way.  Join MYX: Multicultural Youth eXchange and Minima as we explore the intersection of design and environmental responsibility by weaving plastic bags into original works of art.

Bring all your discarded plastic bags to our site!
