The Design Center at Philadelphia University

The Design Center at Philadelphia University is the rare institution solely devoted to design, showing us just how design shapes everyday life. Through its presentation of gallery exhibitions, enrichment programs, lectures and special events – such as DesignPhiladelphia – the center reflects Philadelphia University's extensive design curriculum encompassing architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, graphic design, textile design, fashion, interactive media and product design. The Center's library and collection serve as outstanding resources for scholarly research and provide inspiration to designers, artists, educators, students and aficionados.

City Paper

Founded in November of 1981, City Paper has the area's largest readership of any weekly newspaper by publishing original, powerfully presented, award-winning editorial content. City Paper is blanketed across area businesses and high-traffic areas in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks & Delaware Counties, South Jersey and Delaware. City Paper is a controlled-circulation newspaper, distributed free every Thursday morning to over 2,000 locations. Approximately one-third are distributed through newspaper boxes; the other two-thirds are distributed in office and apartment buildings and in high-traffic retail locations which include restaurants, entertainment spots and other public places.

Modernism

Mural Arts
